| The kitchen is truly
the heart of this home. It is equipped with fine Dacor and Bosch
appliances, and finished with unique granite and a combination of
Hickory and Maple cabinetry by Thomasville.
The flooring is 48cm porcelain ceramic designed to substitute for Travertine, with better service characteristics. Including this floor, there is over 1,700 square feet of tile used in this house. |
| The custom stucco hood holds a Dacor fan unit. This kitchen is a gourmet cook's delight with 5 burner Dacor cook-top; double wall oven with convection; a huge island with second salad sink, pull-out baskets for produce, and cook-book shelving; wonderful lighting; a breakfast bar; a butler's pantry; and a 50sf main pantry. |
| The master bath is yet
another room that will elicit amazed comments from guests. The deep stained tongue and groove poplar barrel ceiling is open through to the bedroom for a very dramatic effect. The glass door, transom, and shower door all use a sycamore leaf pattern. The tile work includes full coverage in the twin head shower stall with copper inlaid decorative border. |
| The floor also has a
copper inlaid border around contrasting tile, for a carpet effect. The Jacuzzi tub with hand shower has 12 jets, an in-line heater, and LED mood lighting. Behind the tub, a sliding glass door leads to a private enclosed sun deck and garden with a water feature. |
| This master bedroom
exchanges Tudor design for modern elegance. It has a two-story bay which terminates in a cathedral ceiling above the bed. The room is open to an exercise loft via a spiral stairway. This loft has a 10' ceiling with two large fans.
| Five inch hand scraped
solid Oak plank flooring is used here, and the family room, upper and
main halls, and the dining room; totaling over 1300square feet.
The 10x12 closet has built-in cabinets. The large volume of this room still manages to contain a cozy nook with an arched top fireplace |
| The family room is open to the kitchen, and is just the right size for casual TV viewing. The French door to the deck gives easy access for Bar-B-Que dinners. |
| Don't forget the laundry! There is a dirty clothes pass-thru to the laundry from the master suite closet. This 10'x14' room has lots of beautiful cabinets, a door to the front, a door to the garage, and a door to the kitchen. |
